Tacos and the meat that used in them and the seasonings that are applied to that meat are a topic for much discussion in my household. My husband and I have yet to find that magical seasoning combination which we both like and think is the absolute best, but when it comes to chicken taco seasonings, this one for Grilled Taco and Lime Chicken for Tacos that’s over at Picky Palate is the closest we’ve come to finding that happy medium. It’s easy, has lots of flavor, and best of all, it tastes good. Give it a shot, let me know what you think!
My brother’s favorite candy snack are Rice Krispy Treats, so when I saw this posted over on The Pioneer Woman’s website, I knew what I was going to make him for after Easter dinner! This simple recipe for Krispy Easter Eggs takes the traditional Rice Krispy Treat recipe and instead of pressing it into a pan and letting it set, you use the plastic Easter eggs that you’d normally hide candy in for the kids to get the egg shape, then pretty it up some with some colorful sprinkles. Voila, an instant Easter treat suitable for all kids, big and small.
Breakfast is a meal that gets old quickly. There are only so many things that you can creatively do with eggs or pancakes or bacon and sausage, but the Pioneer Woman continues to amaze me with the creative things she comes up with for recipes. Take this recipe for example, Eggs in Hash Browns Nest. It’s a bit labor intensive because you can’t used ready made hash browns, but – it looks so delicious that I have to include it on my must make list! You make the nests out of the hash browns and then add an egg to the middle and bake it some. It makes these wonderful looking breakfast bowls that’s are just adorable and yum!
